THIS Halloween Design Almost Got Me Busted!

I wanted to make my yard the scariest on the block… and let's just say... things got a little too realistic.

» So I spent hours setting it up just right - dangling from a tree, with just the right amount of fake blood.

When I stepped back to admire my work, I actually scared myself! It looked SO real that I started second-guessing whether I should leave it out.

BUT the real scare came when the police showed up, responding to a (completely understandable) 911 call from a concerned neighbor. They came barreling down the street, lights flashing, ready to investigate a potential crime scene.

Turns out, even the pros can be tricked by this spooky setup. Once they realized it was all in good Halloween fun, it turned into laughs all around.

That’s how you know a decoration is legit! 😂

Pro tip: Place it somewhere visible from the road for maximum impact. I had mine dangling and it worked like a charm!

The cops said they'd be back with their kids. Guess I'd better stock up on extra candy and prepare my MAMF Board Game just in case... 🍬👮‍♀️
