Memorial Day, a time for honoring those who have served in the military, also marks the unofficial start of summer. When you been an entrepreneur as long as I have your mind automatically thinks about the ways to make money out of any situation. With parades, barbecues, and various celebrations, it's a prime opportunity for creative entrepreneurs to make some extra income. So, here are three diverse ways I would use to capitalize on this holiday:

1. Host a Memorial Day BBQ Event

Why It Works: Memorial Day is synonymous with outdoor barbecues and gatherings. Hosting a community BBQ event can draw in a large crowd looking to enjoy good food and company.

How to Do It:

  • Find a Venue: Choose a local park, community center, or even a large backyard. Ensure you have the necessary permits if required.

Also if you can afford to hire either a special guest to attend (if not rent out bounce houses and etc to make the event entertaining) is a hack that many people use as well.

Your only limitation is your imagination here but understand the point here is that you don’t need (nor should you want) the entire city to come to your even to make it a success.
