God Doesn’t Want You to Struggle Forever

“The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” – Psalm 23:1

Have you ever felt like your money runs out before the week is over?

You work hard.
You do your best.
But somehow… it’s never enough.

The bills keep coming.
Groceries cost more.
And you feel like you’re always behind.

But listen closely: God sees you.
He knows your needs.
And He’s not just watching—He’s ready to help.

In Psalm 23:1, the Bible says:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.”

That means if you trust God, He will lead you to more.
More peace.
More wisdom.
More provision.

He doesn’t want you stuck in a cycle of stress.
He wants to bless the work of your hands and help you grow.

But sometimes, we need to take one small step to open the door.

Today could be that step.

You don’t need a degree, big savings, or a full-time job. You just need one small step in the right direction.

If you’ve been barely making it from one paycheck to the next, this is for you.

I’ve been there too, counting the days, stretching every dollar, wondering how other people seemed to have more freedom while you’re still stuck.

The truth is, most people don’t need another degree or a huge business loan to start earning more. Sometimes, all it takes is one simple step in a new direction.

Let me share a few tips that can help you earn extra income, starting right where you are.

1. Look Around Before You Look Ahead

Chances are, you’ve got things in your home you haven’t touched in months—old shoes, a blender, a phone, clothes that don’t fit.
You don’t have to keep them just because you once paid for them.
Sell them locally. You’d be surprised how fast $50 or $100 can show up when you let go of things you no longer need.

2. Offer Your Time to Someone Who Needs It

People are tired. They’re busy.
If you offer to run errands, clean up a garage, watch kids for a couple of hours, or do something they don’t have time for—you can help someone and get paid.
All it takes is one person saying yes.

3. Use What You Already Know

Do you cook something people love?
Can you fold laundry fast or organize a messy space in minutes?
Can you show someone how to budget, speak better English, or get their groceries delivered?
Start there. Offer it to a neighbor. Word travels fast when you show up and do good work.

4. Teach One Person What You Know

You don’t need to start a tutoring company. Just help one person.
Math. Music. How to cook eggs 10 ways.
We all know something someone else is trying to figure out. That’s valuable.

5. Say It Out Loud

This might be the biggest one.
If no one knows you’re available, no one can hire you.
Write a short message. Post it on Facebook or text it to a few people.
“Hey, I’m offering help with cleaning, organizing, or errands this week. If anyone needs a hand, I’d love to help.”
You never know who’s been needing exactly that.
